SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Serengeti is a great eco-system and world famous for its spectacular wildlife. Its name is derived from the Maasai language “Siringeti“ that means endless plain. From the northern woodlands to the riverine, from marsh areas to short-grass plains the Serengeti is home to approximately 1.7 million Wildebeests, 800,000 Zebras, 200,000 Thomson Gazelles, 3000 Lions and 7000 Hyenas.
